New Marketing and Administrative Assistant joins the Kala Sangam Team

Published by KalaSangam on

Cat Scott started as our new Marketing and Administrative Assistant at Kala Sangam last week.

Cat is a recent Graduate from Manchester School of Art, where she studied BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice. Since graduating in 2015, she has worked across many art galleries and events in Bradford. Also she has curated her own solo and group exhibitions across Bradford, Leeds and Manchester.

In her spare time, she continues to develop her practice as a Scientific-Artist and Independent Curator, as an East Street Arts Studio Holder in the old Marks and Spencer’s building on Darley Street in Bradford. Have a look at Cat’s website here.

Cat is interested in how multidisciplinary collaboration can form innovative projects that sit on the boundary of both Art and Science. She regularly collaborates with other Practitioners from a variety of disciplines, as part of The Superposition collective in Leeds – made up of Artists, Scientists and Makers; where she curates events and collaborates in art and science projects.

Cat aims to bring a younger audience to Kala Sangam, through social media and online marketing techniques. She is also looking forward to working with the gallery team, at events and leading workshops to engage with intercultural communities at Kala Sangam.
