A magical success at our Family Learning Festival

On Tuesday 24th October we had lots of fun family activities on for half term.

The fun included two showings of the family performance ‘The Magic Fish’ by ATMA Dance, along with a free interactive dance workshop with The Magic Fish themself. This went down a treat as they managed to get children and adults to create a boat!

In the foyer area we had lots of free family activities for the Family Learning Festival, including storytelling, fancy dress and hook-a-fish. The activities focussed on releasing your inner child, which worked really well as broad theme to tie the activities in with The Magic Fish performance.

Throughout the day we had over eighty people enjoying the family experiences we had on offer and many recommended us to put further family shows and activity days on in future.
