Small Arts Grant awarded to continue engaging children and young people in Bradford

Kala Sangam is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Small Arts Grant from Bradford Metropolitan Disctrict Council to continue our work engaging children and young people in dance at Community Works. In December we piloted this project in partnership with Balbir Singh Dance Company, where children and young people at Community Works worked with BSDC company dancers to create a new dance piece which was performed at Kala Sangam. In addition to weekly sessions, all children and young people participating will take part in a Discover Arts Award and attend a performance here. The grant received from Bradford Council means that we can continue to bring high quality dance provision to Community Works.
