Community

Kala Sangam have managed and delivered a number of different outreach projects throughout the organisation’s history.
Kala Sangam have delivered projects across a full range of art forms including global arts in the wider community and in the fields of education, health and regeneration to engage, motivate and improve quality of life for some of the most disadvantaged communities.

Kala Sangam is an intercultural arts hub that aims to reflect the communities of Bradford, we aim to deliver art projects that are culturally relevant to the community, widen the participation within the arts in Bradford and effectively bring different members of the public together.

Kala Sangam works closely in partnership with other art organisations, community organisations, the voluntary sector, learning partnerships, LEAs, primary and secondary schools, HE/FE institutions, NHS trusts and healthy living centres, to address some of the local and national learning and health priorities.

We also collaborate with a wide variety of community groups, encouraging the use of artistic activities, to support their development and improve their quality of life.
