HERE TOGETHER is a place to meet new people, build confidence and get creative.
Join Displace Yourself Theatre every two weeks for HERE TOGETHER: a creative sanctuary for adults. These sessions are all about helping you look after your wellbeing and express yourself using easy-going arts and drama activities.
They’re completely free, you don’t need to have taken part in anything like this before, and if English is not your first language, don’t worry, we all support each other.
5:00pm – 6:00pm HERE TOGETHER: Relax (Women and people of marginalised genders)
6:00pm – 6:15pm Tea & Coffee (All Welcome)
6:15pm – 7:30pm HERE TOGETHER: Create (All Welcome)
5pm – HERE TOGETHER: Relax
A free relaxation and gentle movement session only for Women and people of marginalised genders to come together in a safe and shared space, led by Jen. This is a chance to unwind in the middle of the week, learn some wellbeing techniques to stay healthy and calm, and to meet other like-minded people.
6pm – Tea & coffee
A refreshing drink and a light snack where everyone is welcome to join us.
6:15pm – HERE TOGETHER: Create
A fun and inclusive space to get creative led by Jen and Mike together. You will have a go at allsorts of theatre skills, meet new people, think about the things that are important to you and have fun.
Who is HERE TOGETHER for:
HERE TOGETHER is open to everyone who would like a bit of a boost to their wellbeing and to feel more creative. But are particularly relevant to:
- People who have come to the UK seeking sanctuary, refuge or asylum
- People looking for creative ways to support their mental health

You need to book in advance for each session – but this is easy to do by emailing us.
Keeping everyone safe:
We want to make sure the sessions are safe for everyone, so will have some simple rules in place such as keeping a safe distance and using hand gel. We will talk through these at the start of the session so that everyone understands and feels comfortable. Please wear a mask to the first session.
