C.U.L.T Film Night: End of the Century
Thursday 04 June – Film starts at 7.30pm – Book Online
Run time: 84 minutes
Kala Sangam have joined forces with Reel Solutions again to bring the best of world cinema to Bradford. Taking place on the last Tuesday of every month, our C.U.L.T film night looks to present stories from around the globe. In this special, non-Tuesday C.U. L.T. Film Night, we’re celebrating Bradford Pride with End of the Century.
Whilst on holiday in Barcelona, Ocho spies a handsome local from the balcony of his Airbnb. As chance would have it, the two men later lock eyes while sunning themselves at the beach. Ocho musters the courage to invite Javi up to his apartment. What might have been nothing more than a brief hook-up instead turns into drinks and conversation, leading Javi to reveal that the two men have in fact met before. And so begins a story spanning two decades, during which the truths of their past and hopes of their future slowly unravel.
All our film screenings are now Pay What You Decide, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen the film.
We want to encourage more people to come and see films at Kala Sangam, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a film in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the film. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the film starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash or card on the door.
