Percussion workshop by R.N.Prakash on Friday 26th February 6:30pm-8:30pm at Kala Sangam, St Peter’s House, Bradford, BD1 4TY.

Come and enjoy a dynamic and powerful interactive drumming experience with the fantastic R. N. Prakash. Prakash is a versatile artist from Bangalore who specialises in South Indian percussion instruments, and was a student of Vidwan K.N. Krishnamurthy. He will be teaching a blend of rhythm patterns from Southern India focusing on instruments such as the mridangam, ghatam and kanjira. 

Participants will have the opportunity to take part by using instruments that will be provided. This workshop is open to people of all abilities, and especially to those who wish to be inspired!
