Kala Sangam is delighted to host the ‘Acts of Kindness’ exhibition by Bradford based photographer Tony O’Connell who has documented the ordinary people of Bradford doing the extraordinary acts of giving, helping and receiving kindness. ‘Acts of Kindness’ is the first such exhibition in Bradford and was launched on Saturday 6th June at Kala Sangam, St Peters House.  

Bradfordians, both individuals and unknown groups from diverse backgrounds were involved in a wide range of activities such as sport, social care, health, drama etc showing their generosity and ingenuity. These Bradfordians are featured in the ‘Acts of Kindness’ which aims to encourage viewers to consider the great capacity of Bradfordians to provide a positive affect on the lives of others. Viewers are encouraged to think about: acts of kindness without returns, the need for such acts and what a place without such acts would be.
