South Asian Heritage Month 2021

Bradford South Asian Heritage Month returns from July 17th to August 22nd.

Bradford South Asian Heritage Month is about promoting the rich and vibrant contribution of South Asian diaspora communities to the life and identity of Bradford, and to reach out to people regardless of background who are interested in South Asian culture but who might not normally engage with mainstream arts and culture.

Open to people 10 years+, limited places available

Coaches, Husnaa Zaman and Naadrah Hafeez deliver bespoke  sessions to engage and promote women in sports. This is a great opportunity to try something new in a fun, safe and engaging environment!

Life, Loss, Learning and Legacy – Video Storytelling by Lippy People & Womenzone

Audiences are also invited to join in and have a go at drawing basic Arabic calligraphy, letter forms and words.
