From its beginning days Kala Sangam has prided itself on the quality and excellence of events ranging from classical Indian dance for the Queens Golden jubilee to new jazz music with the BBC Philharmonic at venues from The Modern to small rural villages halls, from international festivals to local community melas.
Kala Sangam performs extensively on a local, regional, national and also international scale using artists and art forms from south Asian and inter-disciplinary art forms. We have toured nationally and internationally using artists such as members of the BBC Philharmonic and Grammy award winning artists to local and regional up coming performers.
Kala Sangam other performing arm is community programming whereby regional and national artists perform for many events across the region ranging from corporate events, launches and celebrations to weddings and private functions.
