On 13th April 2020, Bhangra lovers from all corners of the Earth will join forces to celebrate World Bhangra Day!

Artists will live-stream their performances and share their passion for Bhangra in their respective countries.

Hardeep Sahota, along with his team VIRSA, will be leading the way at Kala Sangam with a Bhangra Dance workshop and performances of Bhangra and Dhol.

We will also be launching the Bhangra Lexicon Photographic exhibition. This is an exploration of Bhangra, along with other dance forms, through the medium of light-painting and movement.

1pm: Open Workshop (all ages and abilities)

Come and learn a Bhangra routine.

2pm: Exhibition launch beginning with Global Live Link

Dancers from across the world will join us via livestreaming to share their WBD performances as we launch the Bhangra Lexicon Photographic exhibition.

Kindly supported by Arts Council England
