The Vagina Monologues

Keighley Domestic Violence Support

Surviving Sistas

Wednesday 6 to Friday 8 March – 7.30pm

With humour and grace, The Vagina Monologues celebrates women’s sexuality and strength. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and lives.

Based on V-day founder/playwright Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women, for more than twenty years The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public.

Surviving Sistas is a pop up theatre group of local women working with Stage Left Theatre Workshop to bring this powerful production to Bradford to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March.

This performance will be far from typical, as director Lisa Wood, brings her physical theatre skills, to enhance the work of our performers.

All proceeds will go to supporting the work with survivors of domestic abuse across the Bradford district.
