Vijay Venkat, Kala Sangam’s Artistic Associate (Music), a multi instrumentalist and a composer proficient in several musical genres, specialises in south Indian classical (Carnatic). His expertise in the violin, Indian bamboo flute and the ancient Indian slide instrument Vichitra veena has taken him worldwide, earning him many accolades. Vijay will play on the Flute and Vichitra Veena accompanied by Mr. Pirashanna Thevarajah on the Mridangam (South Indian drums) and Mr Pujenthan Sivagurunathan on the Kanjira (tambourine)
