Bradford Scratch 2

Kala Sangam, Mind The Gap Theatre and Theatre in the Mill

Wednesday 13 February – 7.30pm

Every year Bradford organisations Kala Sangam, Mind the Gap Theatre and Theatre in the Mill support a large number of artists to create high quality, innovative, entertaining new work. Join us at the second Bradford Scratch, this time at Theatre in the Mill, to see a selection of performances that have been created through this support.

Mind the Gap works in partnership with learning-disabled artists to deliver a bold, cutting-edge and world-class artistic programme.

Theatre in the Mill offers broad ranging support and opportunities for innovative artists to make new work, through mentoring, peer support and critique, business advice, residencies and commissions.

Focusing on music and dance, Kala Sangam offers space and support to artists with a particular focus on those creating work which reflects contemporary, multicultural Britain.

Don’t miss this chance to see a fantastic range of artists and performers and find out why Bradford is considered one of the best places to create work in the country!

From Spring 2019 the majority of performances at Kala Sangam are now Pay What You Decide, which means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen a show!

We want to encourage more people to come and see shows at Kala Sangam, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the financial risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.

Tickets are available to book in advance as usual, but there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show. You can then decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.

All money collected helps pay the artists who have performed, and we therefore hope you will give generously.

Please ensure you have arrived and collected your tickets 15 minutes before the show starts in order to secure your seats. At the end of the show, you can decide what to pay, either by cash or card on the door.
