Introduction  to Academy

Through our Academy, we aim to promote greater understanding and appreciation of the cultural tradition of south Asia. We provide life-long learning, training and development opportunities is south Asian arts for students, artists and teachers.

This is done through classes, workshops, master classes, work placements, residencies, national and international performance opportunities, arts awards, and continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities for artists and performing arts teachers.

We also provide career development and CPD opportunities for artists and teachers of south Asian performing arts.

Academy Timetable Autumn 2015

The Academy offers weekly classes is south Asian dance, music and languages at Kala Sangam Arts Centre. Bradford over 3 terms annually and each term lasts for 12 weeks.

We also deliver regular classes in Wakefield, Sheffield and Nottingham.
